Hawthorne Inn

Welcome to the Hawthorne Inn. We are a boutique bed and breakfast situated on Concord’s historic mile, just steps away from the heart of American Literary and Revolutionary history; on land once owned by Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bronson Alcott and Nathaniel Hawthorne. The property was built in the 1860’s and has been functioning as a bed and breakfast for more than 40 years. Inspired by design and elegance, the Inn has recently been fully renovated to incorporate 7 luxury guest rooms, and ample public spaces to create a truly unique experience for our guests.

This bed and breakfast was a great stay check in on Christmas Eve and check was on point the hotel is top end once there this place so clean I stay at high-end hotel around world and working in hotel and restaurant business. This place on point for cleaning even picture frames no dust. Under bed nothings and window no finger print. Well done with take care hotel the owners very nice and humble and really kind. As we dealing with cov 19 they gone out there way make this place really nice and safe. At time stay breakfast was available for safety with COV 19 but each evening put something out for us and in morning as well nice little coffee nook they have. But this stay was great and made Christmas morning wonderful time. If your ever in concord ma this place to stay. Thankyou for a wonderful experience and great stay.

Hawthorne Inn is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed.  Beautiful inn: décor is unique and classy.  Our room was decorated so nicely, it was clean, there was a fireplace and a wonderful claw-footed tub.  Breakfast was nice, too.

Amazing historical property that has been lovingly restored. The Innkeepers, Kris and Michael were awesome, like visiting old friends. Thanks for the great memories!

Excellent, comfortable b+b with many modern updates. Stupendous breakfast selection. I enjoyed the triangles of manchego with tiny squares of quince paste, the toast with hummus, and the pink grapefruit slices with pistachios and poppy seed. Chat with other guests or enjoy your privacy at a small private table, your choice. Easy walk to the Alcott House.
