SUMMARY:2026 DEI Commission Community Survey
DESCRIPTION:Concord has a new question for its residents\, and it’s a simple one: how are you doing? \nThe town’s Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion Commission has launched a community survey to find out what it actually feels like to live\, work\, or study in Concord. Not what we assume. Not what we’ve always heard. What people actually experience day to day. \nThe survey covers topics like whether people feel welcome in town spaces\, whether they’ve encountered barriers accessing services or opportunities\, and how connected they feel to the broader community. It takes about ten minutes\, and anyone who spends time in Concord is encouraged to take it\, whether you’re a longtime resident\, a recent arrival\, a student\, or someone who works here but lives somewhere else. \nWhy does this matter? Because good decisions require real information. The Commission can’t advocate for a more inclusive Concord without understanding where people feel included and where they don’t. \nThis survey is how we start that conversation. \nIt’s anonymous and it’s open to everyone who lives\, works\, or studies in Concord. If you want to share it\, the hashtag is #youbelonginConcord.

SUMMARY:FAMILY GLASS WORKSHOP: Tack Fusing\, Bouquets & Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:FAMILY GLASS WORKSHOP: Tack Fusing\, Bouquets & Landscapes\nSaturday\, May 30\, 2:00pm – 4:00pm \nIn this 2-hour workshop\, adults and children will learn the basics of glass fusing by creating one tile each (8” x 8”) that will be kiln-fired at 1400 degrees – a low temperature that allows the glass elements of your design to stay three-dimensional. To create your composition\, you will work with powders\, frit\, confetti\, copper shapes\, stringers\, and glass pieces. Landscapes and flowers are popular sources of inspiration\, but you are welcome to explore other ideas. Your instructor will fire your creation in his own kiln. The glass creations will be returned within 2 weeks\, mounted in a white shadow box or frame\, ready to be proudly displayed on a wall\, a mantel\, or a tabletop. \nCost per adult/child pair is $165.00. The workshop is open to adults and children 7 and up. Max 10 pairs of student/guardian – additional student $45 cost. No previous glass experience is necessary.

SUMMARY:The Concord Museum Garden Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of beauty\, nature\, and discovery as you visit six stunning gardens throughout Concord.\n\n\nIn 2026\, the Tour will offer a wide variety of garden styles and features\, including decorative elements and vegetable beds\, manicured spaces and naturalistic plantings\, native species and showstopper plantings. Each offers an approach to creating gardens that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape\, complement the architectural features of the home\, and offer delightful settings for everyday living. This year’s gardens also showcase expansive patios\, immaculate pools and water features\, hand-cut fieldstone walls\, winding paths\, and terraces. \nAll proceeds benefit the Museum’s vital school programs that serve over 15\,500 K-12 students across the Commonwealth each year. \n\nGet Tickets\n\nBecome a member today to receive discounted pricing for Garden Tour tickets. \nGet your FREE ticket: volunteer at the 2026 Garden Tour. Sign up here.
