Writing Workshop for Kids

July 14, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

- Free

The Concord Free Public Library will host a writing workshop for kids with local author, Rajani LaRocca on Tuesday, July 14 at 10 a.m. LaRocca will discuss how Concord inspired the setting of her book Midsummer’s Mayhem. She will help kids understand how they can use language and a sense of place to write about their own personal experience Chronicling Concord Through COVID-19. Kids can submit their essays and poems to be archived by the Concord Free Public Library. The Library will preserve their writings so they can be shared with generations to come, as part of the Chronicling Concord through Covid-19 initiative. This event is generously sponsored by The Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.
This workshop is recommended for kids in grades 4 and up.
Kids can register at https://bit.ly/2XAopQy to receive the Zoom link to join this workshop.
Kids can also register at https://bit.ly/2XUA4Lr to share their writing via a Zoom meeting on July 20 at 10 a.m.
