This class will help you to discover how to use expressive or emotional writing as part of your daily, self-care toolbox. The session includes a brief overview of the research supporting the health and wellness benefits of writing (over 300 clinical studies). It will guide you as you begin to build a daily wellness writing practice—even when or if you’re balancing childcare, work, volunteering or caregiving. We will share online resources on sustaining your practice and include in-class, optional writing exercises that can be hand written or typed on your phone. Note: Everyone is welcome and you do not have to be a writer to join our class.
