Wildfires in Massachusetts: A Hot Topic – a hybrid event (in person and via zoom)

September 22, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

- Free

Concord’s Fire Chief, Thomas M. Judge with over 37 years of experience, and Assistant Fire Chief, Walter Latta with over 19 years of experience, for a combined experience of over 56 years, have in the past few months, seen fire related events in Massachusetts that they have never seen here before.

Please join us in listening to the Concord Fire Department present on how brush fires are impacting Massachusetts during our current drought. The Chief will elaborate on past brush fires that impacted Concord and will talk about the recent brush fires across the State. We will learn about resources in Concord’s fire district, resources and mobilization in Massachusetts, and ways we can mitigate risk. We will have a Q&A session after the presentation.

This a hybrid event. The event will take place in the Goodwin Forum of the Main Library, and will also be live-streamed over Zoom. Please indicate if you plan to attend in person or via zoom in the name field of the registration after your name
