Learn the art of Urban Sketching! Urban Sketching is the practice of sketchbook drawing on location to tell the story of our surroundings. Together we’ll explore on location to observe and document the world around us. With emphasis on simplifying the process, we’ll travel light, but explore a variety of mediums such as, graphite, marker, pen and watercolor while discovering tips and techniques for drawing on location in, and around Concord Center. Drawing together we’ll capture the story of the people, places and things around us. We will meet outdoors at Concord Art and head out from there! There are restrooms at Concord Art and in Concord Center. Please dress for the weather (sunhat, sunglasses, etc) and wear comfortable walking shoes for short walk downtown.
