Stewards Exhibit runs February 15 – March 26
Stewards reminds us of symbols and signposts from the natural world that touch our lives. Represented artist Lynne D. Klemmer shows her playful yet sacred entities in her vibrant paintings. Her imagery draws on a wide range of influences: folk and aboriginal art traditions mixed with a modernist aesthetic. Guest artist Bethany Noël exudes the healing effects of finding sanctuary in the woods through mesmerizing oil colors. Noël’s paintings coalesce around her chronic migraine disorder which brings her unique vision. This show celebrates the moments of refuge and joy we find on the winding road. The show also features new works by represented artists Brenda Cirioni, Patricia Ganek, Kevin Kusiolek, and guest artist Avery Schuster.
