Join Concord resident and former Boston Globe writer, Richard Higgins, for an examination of Henry David Thoreau’s deep connection to trees. Trees were central to HDT’s creativity as a writer, naturalist and to his inner life. Thoreau marveled at trees’ beauty, studied their growth, took them as spiritual companions and wrote about them as few have. This presentation is free of charge thanks to the generosity of Harvey’s Treasure Chest Gift Shop. Please RSVP: 978-318-3020.
