TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. This month we will watch “The Power of Vulnerability” presented by Brené Brown. Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, and love. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. Following the talk, volunteer facilitator, Pamela Dritt will lead a discussion. Call 978-318-3020 to let us know you are interested.
