Stone Walls of Minute Man National Historical Park CANCELLED

“We regretfully cancel our upcoming lecture as Professor Robert Thorson has been directed by the University of Connecticut to suspend all university-related travel out of state due to concerns over COVID-19. Professor Thorson will reschedule and we look forward to announcing the new date once it is finalized.”

Join the Friends of Minute Man National Park for our Winter Lecture Series! Robert Thorson, professor at University of Connecticut, will discuss the significance of stone walls found in the Minute Man National Historical Park (MMNHP). Thorson is a geologist, has authored several books on stone walls, and has an intimate knowledge of the walls at MMNHP through his work with the Park on various projects.

Free and open to the public. Located at Bemis Hall, 2nd floor, 15 Bedford Road, Lincoln, MA. Parking is limited at Bemis Hall, attendees may also use parking lot at the First Parish in Lincoln located across the street at 14 Bedford Road. Refreshments will be served. Elevator is available to access 2nd floor.
