Lucille Stott, the author of “Saving Thoreau’s Birthplace, How Citizens Rallied to Bring Henry Out of the Woods” (TMC Books, 2018) will be speaking at the Concord Free Public Library. Her book chronicles the efforts of the individuals and organizations who worked tirelessly over the course of many years to keep the Virginia Road house where Henry David Thoreau was born from being lost to history.
Now making her home in Maine, Lucille was formerly a teacher and administrator at Concord Academy and the editor of The Concord Journal.
