Back by popular demand! Join us for our second annual “Walk in Their Shoes” community fundraiser to benefit disadvantaged South African schoolchildren. All welcome! Bring your friends and family and meet us at beautiful Great Meadows to walk 10K (6.2 miles), a distance that children typically walk to and from school in rural South Africa.

Suggested donation is $25. 100% of all proceeds go directly to Axium Education, an amazing grassroots non-profit that has been raising student achievement with quality educational programming for 12 years in rural South African villages. We the organizers here in Concord know the Axium folks personally and have visited and volunteered with them in South Africa.

Come a little early…10:30am…and enjoy complimentary coffee and refreshments at our meeting point. Plus, a fun informative live zoom “podcast” will entertain walkers (and supporters of walkers) with student interviews, alumni stories and great South African music. More details upon registering.
