Clark Farm Ed Programs:
Get ready for vacation week programs at Clark Farm!

Looking for fun outdoor activities for your school-aged children over February vacation week? Discover the wonders of winter at Clark Farm! Participants will help with farm chores, track animals, create eco-art crafts, and explore our field, forest and wetland habitats. All of our educational programs comply with state and local COVID-19 guidelines.

Monday, February 15,  9:30-12:30pm: Chickadees Group
Ages 4-6; 6 participants maximum
Join us for winter exploration on the farm! We’ll do morning barn chores, create a fun craft, and since it’s sugaring time,  we’ll tap a maple tree together and hang a bucket — so sweet! Bring a nut-free bag lunch to enjoy together with a story book.
Cost: $50

Monday, February 15,  9:00-Noon: Blue Jays Group
Ages 7-10; 6 participants maximum
Come explore the farmyard and surrounding landscape. We’ll do some winter tracking in a variety of habitats, take care of the morning’s chicken chores as we visit with the hens, and have time for free-play in the great outdoors!
Cost: $50

Tuesday, February 16, 9:00-11:30am: Red-Tails Group  (RB to confirm)
Ages 11-13; 6 participants maximum
Come help out on the farm this morning! We’ll do chicken and livestock chores and check in with the newborn lambs. We’ll also tap one of our maples, focus on winter tree ID, and learn some of the science behind this New England tradition.
Cost: $45

Wednesday, February 17, 9:30-Noon: Blue Jays Group
Ages 7-10; 6 participants maximum
The farm is a busy place right now, with newborn lambs settling in and barn chores to do! Join us to work with our sheep, create a wool craft to take home, and tap one of our maples as sugaring season begins.
Cost: $45

Wednesday, February 17, 10:00–12:30pm:  Chickadees Group (RB to confirm)
Ages 4-6; 6 participants maximum
Join us for winter exploration on the farm! We’ll do morning chores, create a chicken-related craft to take home, and after some wintertime free-play, we’ll have an outdoor picnic with a BYO lunch and a story book.
Cost: $45

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

  • We will do a verbal and visual COVID-19 health assessment of your child as we check you in each morning. If you cannot attest to the health of your child/family, you will need to return home.
  • Participants and educators will follow state and local COVID-19 safety guidelines including: Wear masks, socially distance, wash hands/use hand sanitizer, remain outdoors unless we need the big barn/greenhouse for safety/shelter (large, open indoor spaces with good airflow).
