Caring for a relative or a friend with a chronic illness can be stressful physically, emotionally and financially. This six-week series of evening classes is designed to provide caregivers with tools, strategies and resources to better handle the unique challenges they face. POWERFUL TOOLS will help a caregiver: reduce stress, improve self-confidence, balance life, better communicate feelings and increase ability to tackle tough decisions. The series will take place on Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 PM,
on Sept.10 & 24; Oct. 8 & 22; Nov.12 & 26. Sign up is required by calling the Concord Council on Aging (COA) at 978-318-3020. The program will be led by Lauren Barretta, COA assistant director and experienced facilitator, and it free of charge thanks to Harvey’s Treasure Chest Gift Shop at the Concord Council on Aging.
