January First Friday – Town Finances
Please join us on Friday, Jan. 10th, 9:15 – 11:45 a.m. at the West Concord Union Church, 1317 Main Street, Concord (across from the Fowler Library) for an informative program about Concord’s town finances and needs. This is a new location for this First Friday – park along the street and enter through the Pine Street door. The program will be downstairs in the Fellowship Hall, so just follow the LWV signs. The snow date is Friday, Jan. 17th, same location and time.

Our speakers are Kerry LaFleur (Director, Concord Finance Department), Mary Hartman (Chair, Concord Finance Committee Budget Subcommittee), Mark Kost (Chair, Westford Capital Planning Committee), and Todd Benjamin (Chair, Concord Capital Planning Task Force). Tom Swaim (former member of Concord’s Finance Committee) will moderate the discussion and direct questions about the budget process, sustainable growth, and methods of capital planning. Do come to learn more about the fiscal choices facing Concord taxpayers.
