The Concord Free Public Library will host 4 free, family-friendly concerts featuring Rockabye Beats this summer on the Main Library’s Front Lawn. Rockabye Beats’ music is reminiscent of founder Marcos Valles’ Puerto Rico. Their songs offer a range of styles from rock n’ roll to calypso to funk and even blues. Their music will have you bopping and moving along in no time!
On Thursday, July 15 from 7 pm – 8 pm, enjoy the entire four piece band on the library’s front lawn. The Rockabye Beats band is made up of guitarist Shon Gordon, bassist Andrew Fogliano, drummer Dean Johnston, and vocalist Marcos Valles. Bring a blanket and your dinner while you enjoy the concert! We’ll also have an ice cream truck visiting. In case of rain, the concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 22 from 7 pm – 8 pm. No registration is required for this concert.
We’ll also host three 30 minute concerts at 11 am with the smaller Rockabye Beats band on: Thursday, July 1, Friday, July 30, and Monday, Aug 9.
Come sing, dance, and get a little loco with the Rockabye Beats Band! All concerts are generously sponsored by The Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.
