We’ve enjoyed pie as a daily meal and decadent dessert across the centuries. Here in Concord, Ralph Waldo Emerson was known to eat it for breakfast, and pie is described in many daily meals and celebrations happening at the Old Manse. During this program, you’ll take a tour of the Old Manse, hearing some of the pie related stories and learn how pie was made in less modern kitchens. After the tour, you’ll enjoy a pie tasting from Concord Market with hot cider.
Pre-registration is required for this event. When registering, please select from the four available sessions: 1:00PM, 1:30PM, 2:00PM, and 2:30PM. Each session includes a tour and tasting.
