At a time when hate, intolerance and antisemitism are frequently in the news, Holocaust remembrance is more important than ever. Johanna Glazer, A Social Studies teacher at Concord-Carlisle High School, will talk about the importance of Holocaust education in our schools and the need for remembrance.
She will focus on the ways in which teaching and learning about the Holocaust can ultimately provide students with a greater understanding of democracy, justice and the power of their own voices against oppression and injustice today.
The Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council and the Town of Concord are co-sponsoring this event.
