February is American Heart Month. This month offers everyone an opportunity to pause and think about heart health and to promote your own heart health plan. The more
you learn about your heart – how to take care of it and how to detect heart concerns – the better your chances of living a longer and healthier life will be. Please join Geriatric Health Nurse Valerie Boggia on Tuesday, February 15th at 1:00 PM for a Listen & Learn on heart healthy tips, the importance of blood pressure monitoring, and some facts about heart disease. Valerie will review: how your heart works, symptoms of heart disease, causes of heart disease, how to reduce your risks & prevent heart disease and heart healthy living tips. A review of blood pressure monitoring and readings will be discussed. Please call the COA to sign up for this in person presentation at 978-318-3020.
