Join the Friends of Minute Man and Minute Man National Historical Park for a free online wool felting demonstration. Fiber artist and Minute Man volunteer, Martine Gorlier, will demonstrate how wool is transformed into a beautiful felted fedora hat. Using wool from the herd of Ouessant sheep at Minute Man, Martine will show us the process including washing, carding, roving, felting, and sculpting the raw wool. The wool of miniature Ouessant sheep is ideal for felting. Minute Man National Historical Park hosts a herd of sheep in cooperation with Breton Meadow Farm and Codman Community Farms, both of Lincoln, MA.

For more information about Martine’s fedora hats and to learn how your purchase supports the sheep herd, please visit https://friendsofminuteman.org/a-unique-giving-opportunity.

All ages are welcome! To register or for more information, please visit https://friendsofminuteman.org/events/. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Minute Man and Minute Man National Historical Park.
