Please join us on Sunday, October 6 at 3pm when local author Linda Booth Sweeney presents her new book for young readers. Monument Maker is an illustrated (by Shawn Fields) biography geared toward Middle Grade readers, and will be enjoyed by anyone interested in Daniel Chester French’s youth in Concord and his growth as a sculptor who memorialized the hopes and ideals of our country in many great works, including our Minuteman statue and the masterpiece that is the Lincoln Memorial.

Linda Booth Sweeney is an accomplished writer and an educator specializing in the exploration of living systems. She lives in Concord with her husband and children.
