Feel good to walk in the woods? Enhance your wellBeing through an engaged woodland experience at beautiful White Pond in Concord this spring. Join BWBH founder, Lara Wilson, for this simple practice of Being in the moment with nature, and feel the benefits of mindfully replenishing with intention.
BWBH’s Wellness Walks are based on the principles of Forest Bathing, or shinrin yoku, a Japanese practice of intentionally taking in the natural environment with all our senses. As Japanese doctor and researcher, Qing Li, writes in his book, Forest Bathing: How Trees Can Help You Find Health and Happiness, “spending time in a forest can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and anger; strengthen the immune system; improve cardiovascular and metabolic health; and boost overall well-being” (Mind & Body, Aug 20, 2018). Mindful Wellness Walks also benefit the trees and our earth!
