“Far East Deep South,” an award-winning feature documentary that offers an eye-opening perspective on race, immigration and American identity, will be screened at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, in Ward Hall on the Fenn School Campus at 516 Monument St., free of charge. The film sheds light on the seldom-told history of Chinese immigrants living in the American South during the late 1800s to mid 1900s. A discussion with the filmmakers will follow.
