Be among the first to hear new research uncovering more information about the enslaved people who lived at the Manse and how later residents grappled with questions of enslavement, freedom, and war. From the arrival of British Colonists to the end of the Civil War, we will learn the stories of enslaved people, those who enslaved them, and how later generations chose to ignore or right the inequalities of the past. 45 minutes.
