Join curator David Wood, associate curator Reed Gochberg, and the Concord Piecemakers Quilt Guild for a workshop focused on the history and construction of quilts. Participants will look closely at examples of historic quilts from the Museum’s collection in the Lisa H. Foote History Learning Center, where we will examine the techniques, patterns, and fabrics used to make these objects. This discussion will be followed by a demonstration workshop led by the Concord Piecemakers Quilt Guild that explores techniques used in quiltmaking today.
In partnership with the Concord Piecemakers Quilt Guild.
