Courageous Women Leaders in Turbulent Times

May 13, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

- Free

In her recent book, Forged in Crisis, Nancy Koehn, historian at the Harvard Business School, examines the pivotal role that Rachel Carson played in the development of the modern environmental movement and in inspiring citizen action toward protecting the earth. Join us for this conversation in which she will also discuss the book she is now writing on the leaders of the civil rights movement and the critical role women played in the struggle to end racism, discrimination, and hatred. Koehn is particularly interested in the leadership lessons that the civil rights movement has for today’s campaign for justice and equality.
