Come see the creative, talented, and hardworking kids of Concord Youth Theatre perform an original musical!

This season, Concord Youth Theatre’s Mainstage Company took on an exciting challenge, creating a devised theater project called Broadway Underground. Forty-one performers in grades four through twelve used brainstorming, writing, and improvisation to develop a show all their own. Come watch them perform a show that emerged from themes of importance to the actors, and grew under the guidance of CYT Artistic Director Lisa Evans. Broadway Underground features several short plays, ranging from riotous to touching. These stories offer a glimpse into the minds of this creative group of young people. The show will also feature original, powerful, and fun music by CYT Music Director Rene Pfister.
