The annual Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council and Town of Concord Holocaust Remembrance event will be held on Sunday, 5 May 2019 at Concord’s Town House. This year the event occurs from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The focus of the event will be the impact of intergenerational trauma. There will be a brief welcome by Kerem Shalom’s Rabbi Darby followed by a panel discussion with three local adult children of Holocaust survivors. The discussion will be moderated by Elisabeth Sackton,LICSW, a family and couples therapist in private practice and the current Board President of Kerem Shalom. The focus of the discussion will be on the impact of trauma across generations including the role of trauma in the development of resilience.
