The Concord Free Public Library invites teens entering grades 10-12 and their parents to come to a special workshop at the Concord Free Public Library (129 Main Street) on Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. Summer is the perfect time to tackle those college application essays! Whether you are looking to improve your first draft or simply figure out how to get started, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity. In this basic workshop, Andrew Coronato of Axiom Learning will address the do’s and don’ts of college essay writing, deadlines, and best practices for the writing process. Students will learn best practices for essay writing and get tips to refine their personal statements for college. Free. Space is limited. Registration is required.
