When Joshua Reed was first hired as the head football coach, he introduced the “PATRIOT 365 PROGRAM” where players will embrace and exhibit the core values of the CC Football program year-round through team-oriented school and community involvement led by players. Through the football team’s support, they have donated over 250 toys in the past two years to the Concord Fire-EMS Department (Concord Fireman’s Relief Association) toy drive. The toy drive provides new, unwrapped toys to children in need from local and area towns. It is quite moving when we arrive at the fire station to drop off a truckload of toys each year.
How will this all work, and what can you do to help?
***PLEASE BRING ALL TOYS TO THE CCHS HEALTH AND FITNESS OFFICE***
*Do your part to help spread the word! Encourage neighbors and friends to consider donating a toy for you to bring in
* Donate an unwrapped new toy from your family if possible. There is no obligation to donate, however. The Player’s time to help collect the toys and spread the word is just as valuable.
After school on Monday, December 19th, they will gather all the toys we collect and load them in my truck to bring to the fire station on behalf of the CC Football Program.
“I am excited to see the community impact our Holiday Huddle will have this year! I appreciate your support in any capacity, and please know there is no obligation to donate. I wish you all a healthy and joyful holiday season.
With Patriot Pride,”
