The award-winning Umbrella Stage Company presents its production of the long-running musical, AVENUE Q, produced and directed by Brian Boruta, at The Umbrella Annex in Concord.
The laugh-out-loud musical tells the story of a recent college grad named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that, although the residents seem nice, it’s clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
The play features Billy Luce, Jr., Zoe Miller, Eric Dwinnells, Kayla Shimizu, Quinton Kappel, Matt Bouvier, Barbara Pierre, Shani Farrell, Jeremiah O’Sullivan, Jackie Marchetti and Tim Jones.
The performance will be The Umbrella Stage Company’s final performance in its temporary black box theater at The Umbrella Annex, before it opens up its 2019-2010 season back in the new Performing Arts wing at 40 Stow Street.
