Join Leslie Perrin Wilson, the former curator of the Special Collections at the Concord Free Public Library, for a discussion of her new book This is the Life: The Diary of Jennie McLeod. This is the Life concerns daily life in Clinton by a woman who lived in the house where Wilson now lives. Wilson started the book in 2013.

Leslie Perrin Wilson is a local historian and writer. She majored in Latin at Wellesley College and later earned master’s degrees in library science and English. She spent her working life managing archives and rare book collections in academic and public libraries. For twenty-three years, she served as curator of the William Munroe Special Collections of the Concord Free Public Library, and wrote books, articles, and exhibition catalogs in that capacity. Since her retirement in 2019, she has been exploring the history of Clinton, Massachusetts, where she lives, as well as topics related to women’s history.
