ALLOCATIONS PROGRAM GRANT
Eligibility & Guidelines

All non-profit organizations that focus on the human service needs of the residents of Concord and Carlisle are encouraged to apply for a Community Chest Allocations Grant. Organizations or programs must be 501(c)3 nonprofits, town agencies, or programs within the schools and serving individuals in Concord and Carlisle.

CORNERSTONE INITIATIVE INNOVATION GRANT
Eligibility & Guidelines

Funds are available for one-time grants to organizations or programs seeking support for innovative or pilot projects addressing human service needs in the Concord and Carlisle community, with a focus on vulnerable populations including youth and elders. Special emphasis is given to programs that fill a void not satisfied by other programs. Organizations or programs must be 501(c)3 nonprofits, town agencies, or programs within the schools and serving individuals in Concord and Carlisle.

Once a completed application for either Grant has been received, a meeting with Community Chest team members will be scheduled during February or March. This meeting will allow us to get to learn about your organization and application request in greater depth.

2022 Timeline
Grant Application Deadline – January 20th
Site Visits with Grant Applicants – February-March
Grant Decisions made by the Community Chest Board of Directors – May
Awards Presents at Day of Giving – June 9th
Funding Distributed – July

Application Instructions

We have moved to an online platform!

New users will need to select “Create New Account” when logging in for the first time. The platform autosaves every few seconds, and you can enter and leave the application as many times as you’d like before submitting the final grant application.

In addition, you will see a button to “Collaborate” so that a colleague can also be invited to the grant application once it has been started.

 

Grant Reporting

If you received a Grant from the Community Chest in June 2021, please complete the Grant Report FormReports must be submitted by February 1, 2022.

Expense reports must be included. Please use the expense report template.

Grant Information Session for Nonprofits

A Grant Information Session for nonprofit leaders was held virtually on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. This was an opportunity for the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest to share updates about our 2022 grant program, share findings from our recent Needs Assessment, and to answer questions about the grant process.
