ALASKA, BEARS & BEYOND! Nature Travel Series with Joy Marzoff

May 19, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

- Free

Alaska is often regarded as a last frontier and one of the last paces to see large wildlife. Through the Kenai fiords, small boats allow close access to thundering, calving glaciers, breaching humpback whales, and dozing Steller sea lions. Eagles, puffins and other sea birds abound. At the Clark National Wildlife Refuge, brown bears can be seen fishing, playing, napping and raising their young on the beach. Just north of Anchorage the landscape shifts between fertile valley fields and the majestic views of mountain glaciers. Join Joy Marzolf on May 19th at 1:00 PM, as we tour parts of the diverse state of Alaska, now experiencing increasing change in the modern world. Please
call the COA office to reserve and to receive your Zoom invitation at 978-318-3020.
