Active Hope: Facing the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy

January 20, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

- $75

To prepare for what Joanna Macy calls “The Great Turning, we need to develop strength and cultivate new perspectives and even behaviors more in alignment with this new phase of our evolution. During these 4 weeks, through reading, exercises and conversation, we will open new perspectives as we nurture and sow seeds of hope that will help us move forward in changing times. We encourage you to read or have available the book Active Hope: Facing the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy by Joanna Macy.

Joanna Macy, PhD., is a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology. She has been a respected voice in the movement for peace, justice and ecology, interweaving her scholarship with five decades of activism. She’s written many books and DVD’s and came out with a new book in April.
