The Concord Band will hold its Fall Concert at 8:00 pm on October 26, 2019 at the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden Street in Concord. Music Director James O’Dell has chosen “Carnival of the Animals” for the theme to salute and perform music that features the animal kingdom — present and pre-historic. The Band will play six movements from Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, W. Francis McBeth’s Of Sailors and Whales, John Williams’ Jurassic Park Soundtrack Highlights, and some animal-oriented dances and marches. The concert is free with donations gratefully accepted. The Band is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that gladly accepts any donations through on-line links at the Band website (www.concordband.org) or Concord Band blog (www.blog.concordband.org), where you can also find more information about the Fall Concert.
