Latkes and Laughter: A Chanukah Celebration

Latkes & Laughter: Concord's Annual Chanukah Celebration

Every winter, Concord comes together to celebrate the Festival of Lights, and the Latkes & Laughter Chanukah Celebration is one of the best ways to do it. Hosted by the Town of Concord in partnership with Kerem Shalom, the annual event welcomes neighbors of all backgrounds to share in the holiday spirit with food, music, and fellowship.

This year's celebration takes place on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center, 1276 Main Street. Guests can expect freshly made latkes from Debra's Natural Gourmet, lively tunes from the Klezmer Klub, and hands-on craft activities. Everyone also leaves with a goodie bag to take home.

The evening is about more than the menu. It's a chance to meet new neighbors, catch up with familiar faces, and celebrate the season together as one community. Whether you have deep roots in Concord or you're new to town, you're invited. The event is open to all and features ASL interpretation.
